Children & Education
In Partille there is learning for all ages. When The National Agency for Education inspected the schools in Partille, during 2008, we got the mark “a good school municipality”.
Partille has a well developed childcare, laying the foundation for a lifelong learning. During autumn 2008 the child care allowance was introduced, giving all parents an extended possibility to be home longer with their children.
When it’s time for the children to start preschool class, you choose yourself which school the child should go to.
Partille also has an own upper secondary school, Porthälla gymnasium, with approximately 900 students. The school has education within the national program, specially developed program and individual program.
It is never too late to take place at the school desk. In Partille there is an adult education for everyone that wants to move on. For example there is an upper secondary adult education and qualified vocational training within structural care, that is leading in Sweden.
At The Art School (Kulturskolan) there are many subjects for the curious. Here you can try and become engrossed in music, rhythmic, dance, theatre/drama and art. The activity is intended to all Partille residents with focus on young people.
On these pages you find information about the municipality’s preschools, family day nurseries, elementary school and the upper secondary school, Porthälla, as well as the adult education.
You can also read about youth recreation centres, The Art School (Kulturskolan) and The Youth House (Ungdomens hus) as well as about what support the municipality can give to families.
