Public transport
Partille has well developed public transport links that are part of Västtrafik's urban transport system in the Göteborg region, along with Göteborg and the northern part of Mölndal municipality. The municipality's goal is that 90 per cent of the residents should have a distance of less than 400 metres to a public means of transport.
Public transport consists of commuter trains, bus lines and service lines. The network of bus services runs from the municipal districts via central Partille to and from Göteborg. There are also bus connections with Mölnlycke and Mölndal. In addition, there are express buses at peak hours, night service buses and service lines (Lillbussen).
Disabled access
Bus services are to a large extent operated with low entrances and/or low-floor buses. Stops and other public transport facilities have subsequently been adapted for people with disabilities.
Commuting to or from Partille
Commuter trains take ten minutes to reach central Göteborg from Jonsered's commuter train station and nine minutes from Partille station. Commuter parking is available at Partille station, in central Partille at Partille Manor House and Daros Fabriker, at the Jonsered interchange and at Jonsered's commuter train station. The frequency of trains increases at peak hours to ensure rapid journey times to and from Göteborg.
