Parking in Partille
Parking is free everywhere on streets, roads and in car parks in public places, but obviously not on land such as that owned by housing companies. Observe the signs!
Where am I permitted to park?
You have to park according to the general traffic regulations and road signs.
You may park and stay on streets and public car parks within the area covered by the detailed development plan provided there are no road signs indicating otherwise.
Outside this area and where the land is publicly owned, you are only permitted to park in connection with a road and for a maximum of 24 hours.
How long am I permitted to park?
On weekdays you can stay within the area covered by the detailed development plan for a maximum of 24 hours. Time limits do not apply on Sundays, public holidays and the day before Sundays and public holidays.
Parking for heavy vehicles
It is forbidden to park lorries and buses with a weight of over 3.5 tonnes, tractors, motor vehicles and trailers between 19.00 and 07.00 on streets that have public access. Exceptions are car parks in the immediate vicinity of areas where the vehicle is used for work, within industrial estates or for caravans connected to private cars.
Is parking free in Partille for green cars?
Partille municipality does not levy any charges for parking on streets, roads or in car parks in public places. This means that all cars, including green cars, park free.
However, green cars are not permitted to park for longer than indicated at short-stay car parks. The short stay regulations are in place in order to achieve a "rotation" at these sites.
